How we review camera setup evidence
Manufacturer documentation backs camera settings. Product demonstrations back app claims. We keep those evidence types separate.
What a camera resource means
Each resource records its source, model scope, known limits and review date. A documented endpoint is a candidate for testing, and each app hardware test remains pending.
How we review guides
Guides use manufacturer, standards and platform sources, followed by editorial, text cleanup and internal-link reviews. We cite sources beside the relevant instructions and collect their scope at the end of each page.
Corrections and commercial status
We develop CameraViewer and plan to earn from app subscriptions. Camera buying guides currently compare manufacturer documents, with no physical-camera tests or verified merchant offers. Prices, stock and affiliate commissions do not decide a ranking here.
Affiliate links and reader disclosure
We plan to use Amazon affiliate links after the account and exact model offers are verified. A live affiliate action must show a disclosure beside the link and identify its destination. These links may earn a commission; the app relationship remains disclosed separately.
Source checks and content refresh are manual. Model and firmware limits stay visible, and an unknown feature remains unknown. We do not publish measured best-camera or hands-on review claims without the evidence those claims need.
Prelaunch content. Manufacturer protocol documentation and app test evidence describe different things.
